This is Graciela Peña Flores, DVM, Mexican, trilingual, UNAM, with majors in Bacteriology and Veterinary Mycology; International Animal Health; Epidemiology; Vector Borne Transmitted Diseases (VTD) achievement of the eradication Onchocerciasis in Mexico. Always a team worker, we created the first platform (of renewed) Import Requirements Sheets (Animal Health) in Mexico. I aspire to work on a doctorate at Una Salud (One Health) and share my experiences and those of my colleagues at the Ministry of Health and at SENASICA in Mexico, where I served many years; I spent over 12 years in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry, as regulatory and exports manager as well. Have traveled for work to USA, EU, China, South America, Guatemala, to get trained on various matters. Know about quality systems and standards. Gladly teach topics in Spanish or English. Pleased to share experience and knowledge with you all.

The WHO considers 8-12 tropical or neglected diseases as those that affect the poorest populations in the world, with viral, parasitic and bacterial diseases as the most lethal. They affect tropical countries, where training is essential, as well as the availability of medicines, preventive actions and controls, and action plans with specific budgets to prevent deaths, often in women and children. I will prepare the pathogenesis, diagnosis, basic information, actions and recommendations, as well as activities and action plans to reduce disease rates in regions and countries. I will also include data on possible donors; useful for managers & program directors; doctors, nurses, health personnel, lab technicians, veterinarians and biologists, and anyone with an interest in improving the health of their populations of origin. My experience with 4 diseases in Mexico, I hope, should be useful for your countries, and surely will contribute to reinforce your medical systems and strategies.
