I came to Martin after years of being self-taught, with little sense of direction. He has been a fantastic teacher. He’s friendly, flexible, encouraging, and has the patience of a saint. He always finds a way to make even the most daunting or complex concept simple to understand, across any genre. All aspects of my playing, from technique to theory, have improved greatly since beginning lessons with him. I could not recommend him more highly to any player, regardless of level.
